PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Operations Management Certification (OMC) is a globally benchmarked, competency-based professional certification framework designed to develop and validate operational capability from entry-level professionals to executive leaders and consultants.

The framework is built on Global Technical Competence Standards (GTCS), ensuring that certified professionals demonstrate:

Certification Levels 

Level 1 – Certified Operations Management Professional (COMP®)

Competence Outcome:
Ability to operate effectively within standardized operational systems.


Level 2 – Certified Operations Manager (COM®)

  • Integrates quality, safety, environmental, and asset systems

  • Monitors KPIs and improves performance

  • Manages operational risks and compliance

Competence Outcome:
Ability to manage, optimize, and continuously improve operations.


Level 3 – Certified Operations Director / Chief Operations Officer (COD® / COO®)

GTCS Focus: Strategic & executive competence

  • Designs and governs integrated management systems (IMS)

  • Aligns operations with strategy, ESG, and business goals

  • Oversees enterprise risk, assets, and performance

  • Leads transformation and digital operations

Competence Outcome:
Ability to lead and govern operations at organizational and enterprise level.


Consultancy Level – Certified Operations Management Consultant (COMC®)

GTCS Focus: Advisory & transformation competence

  • Diagnoses operational performance gaps

Assessment Methodology (Competence-Based)

Certification is awarded through:

Assessment verifies demonstrated competence, not just theoretical knowledge.

CERTIFICATION PREPARATION COURSE

The program would be conducted in the English Language by one of HRMI Registered Educational Centers (REC). The REC has the qualifications necessary to offer this course. The course is instructed by certified HRM instructors and has been carefully designed to achieve its goal.
